The eegPLUX has just arrived, adding to our current sensor lineup. This new sensor option enables the acquisition of localized electroencephalography (EEG) through our standard bioPLUX units. It integrates the filtering and amplification electronics in the same package and placed near the acquisition point for improved signal quality.

The sensor can be applied to the scalp, it outputs an analog signal, and is powered by a 5V source. Through our 4 pin miniaturized connectors the sensor can directly interface with our bioPLUX units or it can be provided with an optional cable that allows it to interface with third-party systems.

Typical applications include: alpha rhythm detection and evoked potentials analysis.
